I'm Jason Tang — a TPI Power Level 3 Certified Coach and NCSF Certified Personal Trainer. One of only two TPI Power 3 coaches based in Singapore.

As a single-handicap golfer and long hitter, I combine elite performance coaching with first-hand experience of what it takes to generate serious power and consistency on the course.

My approach is simple: treat every golfer as an athlete. Train the body correctly, and the game follows.

At 61, with a regular build, I'm still hitting distances that make playing partners half my age ask questions. That didn't happen by accident — and it didn't happen by following generic workout advice. It happened because I stopped training like everyone else and started training specifically for golf. As an active golfer myself, I've obsessed over the same problem every serious golfer faces: how do you generate more power, stay injury-free, and keep improving as your body changes? The answer isn't just lifting weights — it's training the right muscles, with the right movements, calibrated to your specific limitations. Every golfer has a different body. Different mobility restrictions. Different stability gaps. A programme that works for a 30-year-old scratch player won't work for a 55-year-old club member — and a generic gym routine won't work for either of them. I've tested, refined and lived this methodology so you don't have to waste months on exercises that look right but do nothing for your game. TPI gave me the framework. My own experience on the course and in the gym gave me the proof. What I bring to every client is both — a science-backed, golf-specific programme built around who you are and what your body actually needs. The result? More distance. Before You Ask

Do I need to be fit already to start?+
No — and most of my clients aren't. The whole point is to meet your body where it is right now. Whether you're a competitive junior or a 65-year-old member who hasn't trained in years, the programme is built around your current ability, not an assumed baseline.
I already have a swing coach. How is this different?+
I don't teach the swing — I build the body that makes a good swing possible. Think of it this way: your swing coach designs the car, I build the engine. The two work together. Many of my clients see their swing lessons finally "click" once their body can actually do what their coach is asking.
I have a back issue or old injury. Can I still train?+
In most cases, yes — and it's often exactly why people come to me. As an NCSF-certified Low Back Specialist, I build programmes that work around and strengthen problem areas rather than aggravating them. We cover all of this in your initial screening before any training begins.
Where do sessions take place?+
Sessions are held at a fully-equipped training facility in central Singapore (Bishan), with selected locations available on request. Everything you need is there — this isn't about fancy equipment, it's about the right training.
How soon will I see results?+
You'll feel better movement within the first few sessions. Measurable distance and power gains typically show over 8–12 weeks of consistent training — which is exactly why the programmes are structured the way they are. Anyone promising 30 metres in two weeks isn't being honest with you.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready to commit?+
That's what Power Starter is for. One full screening and a training session — no long-term commitment. If you decide to continue within 30 days, the fee credits toward your programme. It's the lowest-risk way to see if this is right for you.
