Golf performance coaching that builds the athletic body behind a powerful, consistent game — at any age, any handicap.
"The most important piece of equipment is your body"
— and we want to make sure you have an expert evaluating you and doing the right work in the gym.
I'm Jason Tang — a TPI Power Level 3 Certified Coach and NCSF Certified Personal Trainer. One of only two TPI Power 3 coaches based in Singapore.
As a single-handicap golfer and long hitter, I combine elite performance coaching with first-hand experience of what it takes to generate serious power and consistency on the course.
My approach is simple: treat every golfer as an athlete. Train the body correctly, and the game follows.
"Anyone can go to the gym. Not everyone comes back hitting it further."
At 61, with a regular build, I'm still hitting distances that make playing partners half my age ask questions. That didn't happen by accident — and it didn't happen by following generic workout advice. It happened because I stopped training like everyone else and started training specifically for golf. As an active golfer myself, I've obsessed over the same problem every serious golfer faces: how do you generate more power, stay injury-free, and keep improving as your body changes? The answer isn't just lifting weights — it's training the right muscles, with the right movements, calibrated to your specific limitations. Every golfer has a different body. Different mobility restrictions. Different stability gaps. A programme that works for a 30-year-old scratch player won't work for a 55-year-old club member — and a generic gym routine won't work for either of them. I've tested, refined and lived this methodology so you don't have to waste months on exercises that look right but do nothing for your game. TPI gave me the framework. My own experience on the course and in the gym gave me the proof. What I bring to every client is both — a science-backed, golf-specific programme built around who you are and what your body actually needs. The result? More distance. A more powerful, repeatable swing. And a game you can play — and enjoy — for decades.
I don't fix the swing.
I build the body that fixes the swing.
We start with a full TPI movement and power assessment. This isn't a generic gym induction — it identifies exactly what's limiting your distance, and what's putting you at risk of injury.
You get a programme built around your body — your mobility, your stability, your limitations. Every exercise earns its place. No wasted effort, no generic routines.
We track, adjust, and progress. You feel the difference in the gym first, then on the course — more distance, more control, and a body that holds up round after round.
Plenty of options promise more distance. Here's why golf-specific coaching from someone who plays the game is different.
| Generic Personal Trainer | YouTube / Golf Apps | Jason Golf Power | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Understands golf | Rarely plays the game | Generic advice for everyone | Single-handicap golfer, capable of 300+ yard drives |
| Screens your body | Standard gym assessment | No assessment at all | Full TPI movement + power screening |
| Personalised programme | Generic strength plan | One-size-fits-all | Built around your limitations |
| Golf-specific training | General fitness | Some drills, no context | Every exercise maps to your swing |
| Injury-aware | Varies | You're on your own | NCSF Low Back Specialist |
| Adjusts as you progress | Sometimes | Never | Continuously, in person |

Uncle Jason, did I tell you that I am driving the ball as far from the white tees as I used to from the red?
Member at Warren for 20 years. First time I can put two on hole 9 and par the hole — 384m Par-4, drove 228m with 156m left to the pin.
My drives are consistently 20m longer now.
Wow, Island 10th, teed off 54m from blue pin. White tee — 274m, wind against.
Thanks Jason for the videos. Enjoyed the lesson today. Learnt a lot. Thank you for your patience — you are a good trainer.
Thanks Jason, my glutes are stronger and friends noticed my drives are straighter now.
I am still trying to reconcile how someone with your physique and age can hit the ball that far!
Thought I hit a damn good drive and then you are 51m ahead of me. Rangefinder verified.
Disgusting — only person I've played with who shouts "Be Short!" when he hits a drive.
Your swing looked so effortless but the ball flies so far!!
Those were serious distances. You really walk the talk as a power coach!
You are driving the ball like PGA pro distances.
Teed off with a 4-iron and outdrove all of us using drivers.
xx and yy are long hitters but Jason is in a different league.
Wow, that whip! It's all about timing?
When I grow up, I want to drive the ball like you.
169m Par-3, 23-ft elevated, light headwind. Hit it stiff to pin high with a 6-iron. He just shook his head.
